    "Hunter Killer (2018)"
Gary Oldman, Gerard Butler, Michael Nyqvist, Toby Stephens

    Rotten Tomatoes 71% audience score.

I thought it was fun. Nothing makes a lot of sense, but it's a fun ride.
This has been coming up in my various recommended lists for over a year, but every time I checked it had lousy ratings. Recently the ratings have improved, so I succumbed and watched it. Low expectations were surpassed.
Gerard Butler, Michael Nyqvist, Toby Stephens are all pretty good; these roles are old hat for them.
Gary Oldman wasn't on screen much, and his lines were pathetic.

    Avengers Endgame

Tied off the story pretty well and was entertaining.

Strangely, the projection was too dark in the theatre. Movie could have (should have) been 45 minutes shorter.

7/10 spent shells (we need our own rating currency)

    Where Eagles Dare

    1968 Eastwood fictional WWII flick

7/8 A good suspense/action movie that holds up fairly well despite its age.

    yes im reviewing a trailer.

    the rise of skywalker

if your a star wars fanatic, youll probably be bubbling with glee and squeeling like a school girl when you heard palpatine at the end of it. abrams is a master of twisting trailers to seem something other than what they really are. let the rumors fly.

I however see nothing in this trailer that we havnt seen before save a death star crashed in a sea. how many primary character droids does star wars need anyways? what was wrong with r2d2 and c-3p0. i have a feeling that palpatine is back in some form because ryan johnson killed off the only potential antagonist. kylo ren just wouldnt cut it as the ultimate bad guy when he has to compete with snoke, palpatine and vader. poe dameron has been a nobody throughout this trilogy as with 80% of the rest of the cast. still abrams is a better director than johnson could ever hope to be. so heres hoping that he is able to keep my attention for more than what the last jedi was able to do

    Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom 10/10

all around great action/sci-fi film. The outdoor scenes aren't as spectacular as the first one, but then again this was suppose to be a set up for future film.

sadly it ended on nightmare scenario where gun ownership will no longer be vilified.

Godzilla - King of the Monsters
    6/10.
It had monsters fighting other monsters.... and I guess Godzilla is king of them all. My 12 year old loved it and kept him on the edge of his seat for 2 hours so money well spent. Story is "meh" Had the usual PSA "humans are destroying the planet because WE are the real monsters" message that ruins movies but at least kept mostly to only one or two scenes.

    Yep, 8/10 or so.
If that damn 6/49 ticket ever comes in I'll be re-enacting that gun store scene.
