It's a very cool prize, so I figure it's better to apply and chance the 'double entry disqual' rather than stand no chance of winning it.

ya it would have been nice if they sent you a confirmation. ...and of course if you are unsure and enter again, they disqualify you altogether.

I inquired...I got a reply from one of the founders of the site that simply stated they would not bother to check
I just entered a Ontario Out of Doors contest and got an email,
"Your entry was received
Thank you for entering the OOD RELOAD contest. This email is to notify you that we have successfully received your entry. Winners will be contacted by email after the contest closing date (June 10, 201)
But hey, I hear they've updated the page with an option to print.....just too late for the 4000 or so who have already entered.
