    Trijicon HD or Truglo TFX?

Looking to put night sights on my HK P30L. The Trijicons look less snaggy and closer to factory design, the TruGlos look good on the TV ad and are quite a bit less expensive.

Anybody having experience with either, your comments are appreciated.

trijicon just introduced the HD lineup with a thinner front blade.... i would wait for those, currently i run the regular trijicon hd's with no issues.

either way for the p30L it probably is a special order (unless they use a common sight channel)

I'd say Trijicon HD, the Truglo TFX looks like it has too much emphasis on the rear sight dots, kinda like the stock Trijicon tough and bright sights which suck ass. They're good night sights, except good night sights aren't very good for target shooting. The Trijicon HD setup while still being a three dot seems to put more emphasis on the front sight which is good for target shooting.

I didn't know that, that would explain why you see most competition sights are fiber optic. I do have a set of Dawson Precision on there at the moment and like them, but missed the luminescence of the factory sights when laser/dry fire training in poor lighting. Maybe I'll just go back to the factory sights and charge them with my flashlight like I used to.

I really think I need to get my eyes on a set of night sights before spending that kind of money. Thanks.

So now I have a Crimson Trace married with the Dawson Precision, nice co-witness.

Perhaps I have everything I could ask for?
