    2 part epoxy may be your friend there. Mix some black india ink in with it so it color matches. That is how I have repaired dozens of antique revolver grips and rifle butt plates.
    Mask it to build a well for the epoxy then shape it after its cured.

    3 yrs later and I got another rem 812 for my uncle, with the broken spacer again, this time a 20ga

    I don't even remember this 410 model.
