Good, shot out to 500m, no malfunctions. Was windy and variable so it was tricky getting repeated hits on steel at 500m. Definitely need a muzzle brake on this guy. Still trying to figure out what I want to do with the handguard to shave some weight. Im going to spend some time hunting for an armalite AR-10T handguard, as I quite liked the one I had on my gen 1 102.

    Partial repost from another thread:

Went up to do some long range plinking with a couple of pals today, took the 102 to see if the bolt catch would break. Ran about 80 rounds of 147gr ELD Match through it, no hiccups.

Was able to get first round on steel at 485m and 740m, but I had to work a bit for 1,010m. I think with a better shooter with more experience, it probably could have done better, but by the time I started shooting for 1km, it was late in the day and I was pretty tired and not really focusing anymore. Still, I was pretty happy that I was able to make hits at 1km.

This isn't mine, was at the range last weekend and thought I needed a picture of this bcl102 though, very sharp looking rifle

I wonder what stock that is. Looks somewhat comparable to the magpul PRS.

Once I have a rifle worth spending a dime on, it’ll need a stock

It's one of the Luth-ar stocks, I think they run cheaper than the magpuls
