That shotgun looked so good outside at 3-gun last night, I decided to do one of my T97's next.

I kind of screwed up and turned it over while the paint was drying, so there's a bit if a blotch on the trigger guard... oh well. The whole point is to make the guns look beat up - so what's a little screw up here or there?

I saw some dude on Youtube do a camo job on his airsoft guns using a sponge to get a pretty cool pattern. I think I might upgrade My AR's, T97's and Roni's with that technique.

Not sure if I'm happy with how this turned out.

I did the sponge approach - and it looks really blotchy.

I'll have to take it out to the outdoor range and see it under the sun.

    Ideas from this guy:

I'll do what I have to do and deal with the consequences of my actions later

I have a plastic rain barrel I want to use to keep my deer feed in and get it out of the garage...... I was going to paint it camo with this stuff so it didn;t stand out like a sore thumb in the bush (It's currently electric blue).... Now I am scared to buy a few cans... Although I am fuddly and all my guns are wood so that won't be an issue....
It's no fun punning with a Kleptomaniac... they keep taking things, literally.

Maybe I'm a bit mentally scarred after the fire and seeing how much flash rusting was on my HP9. I half wonder if an external Krylon coat will protect my guns from a similar fate if another incident happens again.

My HP9 got the worst of it - if almost made me want to cry, seeing how much rust had formed on it after the nylon case it was in was soaked with water and I didn't get a chance to take it out after 2 days.
