Update from post #66, I just finished reloading my first 1000 9mm took me just shy of a month and no I wasn't in any rush lol reloaded 50 or 100 when I had time and I even weighed each powder load with my little Dillon mechanical scale. A few more hundreds and I'm going to start on .45's

And here I was all proud of my 450 rounds of 45 ACP. 230.grain cast bullets over.5.3 grains of Red Dot....every charge dumped from my RCBS ChargeMaster. Your 1000 manually weighed 9mm is quite a bit more of an accomplishment. Lol. Well done sir.

^^^ I just don't trust the LEE powder disks that comes with this press and I'd rather feed casings manually too so I can inspect them. So basically I de-prime each casings on my drill press with a de-primer steel rod i made, wash them in Hot water and a blend of citric acid and soap, tumble them by hand for 10 minutes with the red rubber glove lol, rinse in very hot water let them dry for the night (room is at 25% humidity) re-size, prime and flare 50 or 100 the next morning on the press, put them in the blue tray weigh each powder load and fill them with 4 Gr. of titegroup powder while they're in the tray and go back to the press to put the bullets in. And start again till I need to wash another load. Sounds a bit crazy but i like it that way Oh! and yes, I'm retired so I have plenty of time.

I think the Lee Perfect Powder Measure can be adapted to the powder through expanding die... Might have better luck with that.

I've only been reloading for 2 1/2 years but here's what I'm loading for:

    .223 rem
    .38 spl
    .357 mag
    .45 ACP
    .45 Colt

My AR loves Hornady 53g V-max with H-335 or 55g sp with Win 748.

For pistol and revolver, I use lead or plated bullets with a variety of powders: HS-6, IMR 700X, CFE Pistol and soon to try...Titegroup.

Primers are CCI or Winchester. I load all of this on two ss presses.
    Don't retreat.....just reload!
