For cloners out there, you'll have to update your builds, lol!

Unfortunately, I don't have any of the updated parts for my personal rifle

If you really want a C7 clone, please for the love of god close your ejection port cover before you give soldiers looking at that photo a seizure.

(We get razzed pretty much right from the first time we touch a C7 that the ejection port cover has to be closed all the time; usually to the tune of 25 pushups every time you're caught with it open).

Yes I said "ejection port cover" and not "dust cover", and yes I would also say "cocking handle" not "charging handle".
Don’t order from Wolverine Supplies. PM me for details.

If your in BC, most of the lower mainland should be done, our weapons tech has been going around the local units doing the swaps. I can't speak for the island or the interior.

Some units have already started griping about the sling plate, lol!

Yeah, unless you're the RSM on the range in the lane next to me, I probably wouldn't stress too much about the cover being open, or what it's called.

The only time anyone's ever gotten pissy over it was back in BMQ.

And I call it a charging handle, people know what I'm talking about

The gun plumber hasn't made it up the valley to us yet, I guess.

"TWENTY-FIVE" is the customary for any weapon issue on course - dropping it, dropping parts of it, having it on safe, not looking through the sight at the clearing bay or during the function test, etc... To my dying day I will have that sing-song order from one of the course staff embedded in my brain. One guy had his weapon leaned up against a wall and it fell down. The warrant officer was 500 feet away, didn't even see it, but he heard it and called out "Twenty-five" and then came sauntering around to see who was doing push-ups, because he knew someone would be.

I've heard the charging handle called the "lobster claw" and the "Crocker cocker"

I was going to say this. Close the damned ejection port cover for all our sanity.

Spare lower I had engraved. They sort of fukked it up, but the lower was cheap so I'll live with it.

Because charging handle is the correct name for it.
