    my mid? size fiskars has been doing light duty for more then a decade now
    currently bouncing around the bed of the truck with a small princess auto shovel

    I've got the Fiskars X27 splitting axe and the next size down. That X27 is by far the best splitting, and all around axe I've ever owned. I have that small hatchet around here somewhere too, but I couldn't tell you where it is.

    I haven't bought an entire axe ever in my whole life (just replacement handles for found axe heads) but now I've bought 2 in the last few months.
