    Are RPAL courses down?

My wife took her pal coarse in the spring, I want her to take get her RPAL, so yesterday I happened to see one of the instructors, asked when the next r pal coarse was, he said whenever we get enough people, said they have struggled last 2 years to get enough for 1 course a year. We are not a big town, 30,000 pop, but I was suprised to hear they were having a problem getting 10 people a year. Just wondered if this was happening everywhere or just here, as we are known as a retirement community.

"...whenever we get enough people..." Usually the response of somebody running the COURSES in small places. Out of 30,000, there wouldn't be many interested people. Less if there's no club or a club that doesn't want new members.
The whole thing is part of the Liberal's plan to make getting into the shooting sports as difficult as possible. Which is part of their long term plan to make Canada the first Western country where firearm ownership is a thing of the past.

It is the opposite for us; we always have more demand than we have spots available; we are in a small town in rural southwestern Ontario.

On the Nova Scotia RPAL course schedule, I see courses at various places, various dates from Sept to Dec 2018. Seems normal here.
