    This is going to be a quick and easy build. No OCD wood finishing, reparking of any parts, just dig out the nicer parts and slap it together. BTW, this is a .308 project.

    No,no,no! I am so close to getting this finished I can't get to sleep. So..... time to tear the trigger assembly apart and check/clean and lube.

    That has to have been the easiest trigger group I have ever worked on. Came apart with no issues, it was very clean (to clean) and needed some good greasing. The hammer pin was looking a bit rough so a new one was installed. Nice International housing with a mix of good internals

    ...and that's how simple a 7.62 T-2 conversion is. Just needed that 23 1/2" barrel to get it done.(I had the shorter stock, rear hand guard and op rod tucked away). I is a happy camper. Merry Christmas to me!
