    Record low unemployment.
    Crime is stable overall.
    Canadians are generally happy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Happiness_Report)

We haven't got the discontent here that will drive real change. I don't know what it will take. I wouldn't welcome the kind of decline in Canada's fortunes that would lead to that degree of discontent.
    I'm speechless.

Record low unemployment is lies. Did you hear the Alberta take on the emplyment numbers? Yep. 46000 new jobs-error in the estimate plus or minus 20000. So the median value was 26000. What if the minus was correct? 6000? On the low end.
But the media reports 46000. That's before they were bought out. YAY LIBERALS. Liars. The fookong lot of them.

Before I left the country I spent two years trying to find a job. Every job I applied for was getting between 700-1100 applications, and the only job I even got got a phone call for was forklift driver for $15/hr (that's with a masters degree by the way). So yeah, "record unemployment"

Here is Poland which has actual record unemployment, job postings typically get 20-30 responses, and employers actively seek out workers. If you have any kind of online presence (even on craigslist/kijiji type sites), they WILL find you and offer you a job!

It really IS this bad in Poland!

Be careful when trying to use the unemployment rate as a meaningful reference. Like the inflation calculation, it has long since evolved into manipulated tool to pacify sheeple (unemployment) or lessen the costs to government (inflation) and artificially inflate GDP (inflation). For our purposes though, current unemployment values are not a meaningful representation of actual employment. For both Stats-Can and the BLS, they fabricate their numbers by making their calculation duration time dependent. That is to say, after a period of time you are no longer counted even if you remain unemployed. In short, it means that the unemployment rate is, by design and desire, kept artificially low. If you want more detail visit Shadow Government Statistics website...http://www.shadowstats.com/alternate...loyment-charts

...you will find detail on how current calculations are done, and also their more accurate calcs showing actual unemployment numbers. For those not interested in reading the details, in the US it's running around 21% -- 22%. During the peak of Obama's tenure it was upward of 25%. Well into depression, not recession, levels of course. I don't know what Canada's is currently, but it is safe to say it's a ways north of what Canada's data deceit department, Stats Can, is saying.

There is no doubt that Alberta, and to a lesser extent SK, are taking a hit right now. And that corresponds to where the most anti-government rage is to be found. But it's far cry from what's happening in parts of Europe, and it doesn't reflect what's happening in much of the rest of Canada. These things are cyclical. 5 years ago Alberta was the golden land and Ontario and Quebec were the s**tholes.

It's all being kept afloat by massive borrowing, and I expect there will eventually be a price that has to be paid.

But outside of specific pockets with specific issues, while we have the usual ongoing dislike of scumbag politicians and bureaucracies that are to be found in every jurisdiction and every political party, there is no general anti-government rage in Canada that will drive the kind of thing we are seeing in parts of Europe.

    Not yet.

Yea, we get it, you don't like trudeau. Can you form any other intelligible thoughts?
I agree, the lack of maturity dilutes the message of discontent with this government. I say fast forward to the head in the basket part!
