Works out to roughly 67 cents per round before tax and shipping. Is that a good price these days ?

Not really. Federal seems expensive at that price.

The Hornady Works out to .39 cents a round - That is pretty good.... Usually around $12-$13 a box of 20 here for the 62gr.( .60 cents plus a round.)

If that price in the picture is CDN$, then I calculate that it's 54 cents/round after tax (shipping not added).

    ?

Still, 54 cents isn't too bad. I usually buy when 223/5.56 is below 50 cents/round with tax. But with our dollar in the tank, that's probably why it's higher right now.

    Those prices would be usd

The barrel of 62gr stuff would be lovely, thanks.

Liberty is not a thing for the great masses of men. It is the exclusive possession of a small and disreputable minority, like knowledge, courage and honor. It takes a special sort of man to understand and enjoy liberty — and he is usually an outlaw in democratic societies. - H.L. Mencken

There seems to be lots of ammo on sale the last few months and prices coming down. I sense that There is becoming an over supply in the market right now.

If our dollar didn't suck with a 38% exchange, I bet we would see $300 per 1000 for 5.56 again. Sub $200 for 9mm.
