    Mud Bug Feast........

So Iíve eaten a lot of different foods while working down in the far south and everything has proved to be delicious. My wife wouldnít touch this one with a ten foot pole tho....Once I got the technique down, you can really tear thru them.
Iím going to build a pot like this at home, it has a strainer dump bucket built in. They fry the sausage dry, throw it in with the boiling potatoes and then finally the corn. Did I mention they spice the heck out of the water that everything is boiling in? Most interesting corn ever.... Dump everything in a cooler and then in with the mud bugs, we went thru 4 sacks of them. Some truly good eats!

Mix miracle whip and ketchup together. So it turns pink. Makes a great dip for them. We used to catch lots of them.

It doesn't matter whether the gun they have is illegal or not they don't care about laws in the first place. You could make every gun illegal and you would still have these guys armed to the teeth it's not laws against guns we need laws against criminals !

I never thought about it, but I was recently informed that you need a fishing license to take crayfish. Duh. I haven't had a freshwater license for a few years but I might have been pulling these guys out of a lake with a piece of chicken on a string on a camping trip. Anyways, good to know, and at least I didn't find out the hard way.

I used a head lamp and waded in the water at night and they scurry around on the bottom in shallow water .

My buddy has 300 acres of rice fields in Louisiana only a couple of hours from my work. His pots are rated in 45lb sacks, 2 sacks for small or 3 for regular size....
