    Hugh's taco seasoning

    2 lbs of meat(moose)
    fry till brown.

    Mix together
    2 tbs of chili powder
    1 tsp of cumin powder
    1 tsp of salt
1 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
    1 tsp onion powder
    2 tbs of corn starch
    1 tsp of dried oregano
    1/2 tsp of pepper
    1/2 tsp of paprika
    2 cups of water

Mix spices and water together and add to browned meat. Simmer on low stirring occasionally to mix all the spices around. Let most of the water boil off. We use wonder white flour tortillas wraps instead of taco shells. Dice tomatoes, shred cheddar cheese, chop lettuce and if a milder taste is required cottage cheese helps. We like mild so if hotter spice is your desire add it. Enjoy

I think that's what's wrong with my mix, I've left out the oregano.
    It's a subtle thing, but maybe that's what's lacking.

If you find the oregano too much, substitute marjoram.
