Made some thumb nuts for my cheek riser

    IMG_3281(1).jpg
    ------------------^

I never really liked the small thin knurled wheel nuts that came with my economy cheek riser unit. I much prefer the Tac pro unit with its' larger thumb nuts. So - I decided to make a couple up out of some steel. They seem to work great - the original nut is in the lower left corner.

In case someone hasn't got the equipment to build the thumb screws, Carr Lane has about anything you could want

McMaster Carr is a distributor for Carr Lane

TPL has innovation hub that lets you print PLA parts. I think I would try something like that first if I needed a big thumb screw.

Of course they do. The amusement is in printing out the bits of a bolt together receiver without anyone knowing what they are printing.

I'm not even gonna touch the whole ..... noting that you are too lazy to type something out by ....... typing it out.
