That is harsh, losing all your gear, would take years, maybe decades to get it all back again. Is that why you don't play seriously anymore? Why do women have to try and take everything in a divorce? So much for equality...

Doug, have you checked out a PRS yet to see what you think?

Haven't had a chance yet. The local L&M doesn't have any so I have to go to Halifax.

You can have them ship it to your local store free of charge but just make sure they aren't expecting you to buy it. When they order from the distributor they kind of expect you to buy it, I don't know if that's the case with shipping between stores.

    Sell my Gibson or not?

In the meantime I just picked up an Ibanez RG270R in great shape off Kijiji for ghits and shiggles ($140 bucks).

Needs to be set up as the seller had no idea. But thatíll be fun for me as a learning experience. Thisíll be the guitar I leave out of the case and plugged into the amp. Not concerned if I bump or bang it (not that I plan to lol).

No wrong choice but I voted to sell it and go modern. Something new might be what you need to kick back into playing more often.
