    WK180-C Maintenance

    Hey all,

I wanted to ask a few questions on proper maintenance with my new wk180-C rifle I bought.

What should I be lubricating on the rifle itself as this is my first sporting rifle?
With that being said what is the best lubricant I should be using?

For actually cleaning the barrel out should I be using the regular patch and solvent down the barrel like any regular rifle or something else?

I know these are stupid simple questions but I want to make sure I am doing the proper job.

    Thanks
    Luke

I'm not familiar with the gun off the top of my head, but I'll tell you what I do. Clean the bore with an appropriate solvent like Hopps No.9, Lead Out and/or Copper Out. I then run a patch soaked in oil down the bore. As for the mechanical parts, I use Hopps No9 for that too, and then oil everything including the external metal parts. As for what kind of oil. Man...that's like asking which pickup maker is better. Personally, I've used 22 weight hydraulic oil for decades with zero problems.

Wolverine provided a downloadable manual for that rifle. You should begin with that.

i typed more, but deleted it - if you've not gone through the manual, I don't want to give you reasons to avoid it.
