I handled a boyds at-one stock at the local gun store, considering one of them for the stock vs the magpul. I do have a magpul hunter stock on my rem700 that I like.

Ordered a magpul stock from nordic marksman, might as well take advantage of the black friday sale.

    $190, 15% discount, after shipping was $225
HST is 15%, so basically save the tax for me.

After getting the rifle adjusted, I shot an 86/100 and a 90/100, alright for a beginner
Doing some dry fire practice, I can see the reticle jump on the paper when the hammer drops which I think is from the action not being tight/bedded to the stock
Target is only 20yrds away but to get 10/10 on a single target(you shoot one round each at 10 targets per go) you basically need to hit a pen head.

Picked up a grey birch receiver and barrel from a member here, and grabbed a magpul stock from nordic marksman
Everything arrived the last couple days. Should of bought a mlok bipod adapter.
Going to look silly with a bipod too but it'll be functional.

So the cheek risers are sold separately? I assumed that to be the case, but I never did confirm it.
