Not lately, I was looking at the m38s and m44s - NOPE, the prices ended that search quickly

Liberty is not a thing for the great masses of men. It is the exclusive possession of a small and disreputable minority, like knowledge, courage and honor. It takes a special sort of man to understand and enjoy liberty and he is usually an outlaw in democratic societies. - H.L. Mencken

Thought I saw $300-ish somewhere not too long ago.....

Can’t find it.... $375 at P&S Militaria, $369 at Tradeex. They’re both usually somewhere close to fair market value with most of their military surplus.

Good thing I’ve kept a couple 91/30’s and an M38 kicking around.....

The ‘shooter grade’ I have with a rough stock set me back $120 near the start of the Russian surplus craze. My first SVT-40 was $250.

A few seem to trickle in here and there. Last ones I saw fresh off the boat were $800 though....

There’s nothing as effective at picking up garbage as a Mosin bayonet, and they’re slowly running out of them, lol.
