    Mahindra roxor

I saw an ad for these during the Brier, and the jeeps in the army thread made me think of it.
    What's the opinion on these?
It's too bad they're offroad only, but I guess if you were to bring them up to snuff for road use, you'd probably be at the same price as a jeep anyway.

What's the details, is it a kit or do you buy as is?

My bet would be that these knock off jeeps would crumple like a stale samose in any North American crash test.

They are not road legal and I don't think there is a way to get them road legal if they were originally manufactured as an ATV

Buy as is and then add the accessories to make it look good.

I've looked at them a bit, and they're kinda neat.
    However, not road legal.
    Cost starts at about $20,000.
Open diffs, so not as capable as a normal quad.
    Has a heater.

If it were 1/3 the price it might be worthwhile.
If it were road legal, I'd love to have one.
But for the price of it, I could build something much better offroad, or better offroad and street legal.
    Don't blame me, I didn't vote for that clown. Oct 20, '15

My god, $20k usd even before getting into the lockers and what not, why bother when you can get a beater ranger/tracker/ect for $2k and stay road worthy, or a atv and stay compact and able.

Yeah it's not very compact, which is a must for the places I've been on quads.

If companies started making square body trucks that are road legal, I'll be singing a different tune

My main thought about these is it just brings to mind what we don't/can't have.
Wouldn't it be great if we could have something like this but street legal, and for a reasonable price?
Safety regs, environmental regs, over priced unionized assembly labour, foreign vehicle regs, etc. keep that as only a dream.
Even the "mini" trucks the rest of the world have, and we cant get.
I just wish we had the option.
