Ammo, camo and things that go "blammo".

I decided to load down the 45-70 charge for my Pedersoli 1886. At 49gr of IMR4198 with the 300gr plated bullet, it was really beating me up. And probably the rifle too. So I dropped the charge weight a full 2 grains to 47gr.
I only have 50 left with the shoulder bust’n load. So I’ll try (slowly) to fire those off this weekend.

Rolled up 40 “match grade” plinkers in .308win for my Coyote. But these are not just for some trigger time practice plinking session. Since I sold my boomer, I have an extra scope that I really like. So I’ve decided to mount it on the Coyote and use these rounds to get it zeroed.
Yeah I know…I won’t need 40 rounds to do that.
Today's effort: 100 @ 9mm.
3.9gr Titegroup, 124gr Berry's.

So I decided to have a look in my match ammo case for one of my LR rigs. Since I had not fired it since May 2022. What I found was 60 fired cases. If I remember correctly, I was in a match and I just forgot about those dirty cases….until this morning.
Time to de-cap and then into the wet tumbler.
After drying, time to size.
Now some powder.
And now…the finished product. This is one of my most favourite cartridges, the venerable 6.5x47L.
Cases: Lapua
Bullet: Lapua 139gr Scenar
Primer: CCI BR4
Powder: Varget 38.0gr
CBTO: 2.181” (+.010” jump)
Speed: 2890fps (+15c)

9.3 x 62. Did up 20 rounds to set up my new dies, and to try out a new to me rifle I got from Intersurplus. I ordered the RCBS dies, PPU Brass and 285 gr PPU RNSP from them as well. Here is one round sitting beside a 6.5 x 55 for scale. I used Winchester Large Rifle primers with 54 g D4895ssc. I fired two shots (worked very well) and promptly went home and ordered a recoil pad. LOL

Kind of bored on a lazy Sunday when it’s -20c outside. So I rolled up 50 rounds of .45 Colt.
7 grains of TiteGroup under 250gr Campro’s with LP magnum primers.
