I've got a ton to do, fallen so far behind this winter I'd be lucky to find enough for one day at the range without taking the whole cabinet with me! Today I'm going to start on sme .223 for Mrs. Wolf. Something weird though, I have a copy of Quick Load and just learning how it works, I plunked the numbers into it for a load that I had tested for her and it says Dangerous Load Do Not Use! Wtf?! I worked up the load trying groups with incremental powder charge increases and see no signs of pressure (though I have to check and see if there is a measurable amount of primer flow) and of course this was the most accurate group for her at 0.520 at 100 yards. I did not have the chronograph that day for some reason but will load three and test out back just for the numbers. It was 27.5 grains of Varget with a 50 grain Nosler soft point flat base.
Any thoughts?
