Just got back from the club.
Missed the first one of a round, and hit the other 24. And then I hit the first one of the next round.
Just have to make that 25 all from the same box...

It will happen soon. Don’t count birds, just focus on the next one out of the house.

If you club has that old tradition, I would suggest not wearing one of my best hats for a while.

Hit #1 through 24 on my first round.
Couldn't handle the pressure on the last one.
Plus I was wearing a new hat.

I did a 24, 24, 22, 25 with the BPS tonight, with quite a few ink blots. I don't appreciate that gun enough.

Nice shooting Mark! Is that your first 25?

I feel your pain Dewey. I missed my 100th target for a 99 once at an ATA shoot, the pressure got to me. At this point trap becomes a mental game. Focus on breaking the next bird out, don’t think about keeping score

    First this year

That round was completely mental. I wasn't particularly aware of the count.

It's a real Use The Force sort of game.

Probably going Sunday, unless it's truly miserable.

I'm in my first year as well. Handicap is just messing with my head. I think that I just need more rounds under my belt.

What yardage are you shooting from cowboy01?

The secret to handicap is realizing that it’s the same exact thing. Even if you’re back at 27 yards, the shot is still covering that distance in a fraction of a second. But it definitely messes with you until you realize it’s not that much different at all.

You are 100% correct Ben. I am just trying to convince my brain that it is true. I am a little slow at pointing the 1100. I was in my head so bad last week, my handicap was a 12. I am not saying that i am good, but I'm not that bad.
