What about target and match shooting strikes you as not expensive?

People demand more performance and we are pushing the limits of range and accuracy, so yeah, that is gonna cost money.

What interests me more is the notion that aluminum tipped bullets are "new" technology. Aluminum tips have been used in bullets since prob the 1960's or maybe even earlier.

The primary reason Hornady has gone to aluminum tips is they discovered the plastic tips were deforming in flight and thus changing the BC with distance.

I thought the ELD bullets were supposed to remedy that. Aluminum still has a relatively low melting point I think, I await the titanium tip bullets lol

I'm awaiting the kryptonite tips so we can defeat our alien overlords.

"...await the titanium tip bullets..." You'll be selling organs for those.
"...Silvertips, actually aluminum tipped..." Silvertips weren't actually tipped with Al. Just a cap on what was a semi-jacketed bullet. Very sad day when they discontinued Silvertips so it was.
The point makes no difference anyway. The only part of a bullet that matters is the base.

Yeah, that's why we use SWC for long range shooting.
Life jacket and a hockey helmet, but is there a cage mask on it as well?

Hey, that was genius, and I'd wager they made mountains of cash from that marketing scheme.
Maybe this one too, we'll see.
I just hope they don't wear it out like their Lock and Load Lock and Loader Lock and Load system to pair with the Lock and Load Lock and Load.
