Is now the time to buy a new restricted ?

In light of a lot of the recent information on bans is now the time to purchase a new restricted firearm ?
Been on the fence between a Chiappa M1 9 and M&P sport 2 for about a year and will most likely be getting either in the foreseeable future. I want the M&P but if in a month or 2 I will never be able to take it out of the gun safe it seems like a poor investment ...........
Just wondering on the thoughts of the collective

I'm thinking about this myself. I wish we had more details. It is only a rumour but Trudeau is just the type of moron to try to virtue signal like this - especially as he is getting destroyed in the polls.

Too many people are jumping to conclusions. Dont stop living. The rumor is that they will prohibit transfers. That doesn't necessarily mean prohibiting the use of those guns. Sure, I could be wrong. But so can everybody else. Including Clement and the so-called inside sources.

Cripes! What is it with people always jumping to conclusions, and assuming that anyone but the lawmakers know anything yet? Give it time.

It's always a good time to buy a restricted, regardless of what the government may or may not do..

    Do you have an RPAL?
Do you have the money, or able to comfortably carry the debt?
Do you have your spouse's permission or willing to suffer the consequences?
Does today end with a Y?
If so, then it's a great day to buy a new restricted.

If you believe the polls, Trudeau's PM career isn't long for this world. The don't have the time to start confiscating crap before the election. The logistics of it just can't be pulled off before the election and Scheer will kill anything draconian like this that they pull. I was contemplating hunting around for another AR if somebody was getting the jitters and wanted to sell one cheap.

How many times have these rumors reared their ugly head about bans etc.?

Buying does a number of things for us gunnies... it's a big FU to the antis and the government, the more that's out there the better, it drives a firearms related economy which translates into jobs and tax revenue.
