    ... add to that the burden of processing short term ATTs after c71 takes full effect and the CFOs should grind to a stand still.
    Maybe that’s in the design like the super slow LGR transaction processing which caused many businesses to quit dealing firearms after c68.

    Yup, right up there with ATC's and transfers for self defense. They don't need to ban a damn thing, all they need to do is stop answering the phone.

    After a few calls and a few minutes on hold I got through to verify a buyer's license before sending off a NR rifle. Before even asking for the buyer's information she asked for MY information "to check that all my information is up to date". I declined to give her my information. Seemed rather suspicious to be so intent on getting mine before getting his. She didnt fight me on it though.

    There is plenty of report of them checking the caller's PAL, but hey. Don't blame them to go beyond the law when you're going beyond the law yourself by actively checking a buyer's PAL, which you have no legal obligation to do...
