Same experience here, maybe it's my accent but they didn't even reply to several pre-sales e-mails.

I don't disagree that it's an awesome brand, but the BSEV has been called the most accurate normal 22 you can get by credible sources.

If you can shoot the same accuracy as a $2000 rifle with a $700, why wouldn't you get it?

Is anyone shooting the Savage A22 or B22 Precision Series? I'm not finding many reviews.

If a typical $700 Savage shot as well as a $2000 Anschutz, that would be cause for surprise. If 100 typical $700 Savages were compared to 100 Anschutz rifles, the accuracy balance would tip decidedly in favour of the German-made rifle. A key reason for this is that Anschutz makes much better barrels than Savage.

There is no substitute for quality.

Shoot an Asnchutz and you will understand .... and never again be happy with anything less.

Lets not fool ourselves, no Savage is going to compare well to an Anschutz. That Savage may produce the odd decent group but the Anschutz will consistently outperform just about anything else.
