    Sabatti?

I've seen a few Sabatti rifles for sale over the last year or so, but really know next to nothing about them. Google was really not very helpful either. I saw one recently that caught my eye and wanted to know a little more about Sabatti in case I decide to pursue that particular rifle. So, anybody have any experience with Sabatti rifles? Good, bad or ugly, I'd like to hear about it.

    Thanks folks.

Italian Mauser clone stuff sold by Marstar. Appears that most of 'em are on sale there(pretty reasonable prices). So they may be getting out of 'em. Biggest issue is the mag availability if you go that way and Marstar is getting out of 'em.
Actually lots of info via Google. Search just 'Sabatti'.

Thanks for the search tip. I had been Googling Sabatti rifle reviews and nothing of relevance to the rifle I saw for sale came up. In looking again, I think the rifle may be a Mercury (although I don't know if it was made with an adjustable comb) and I found some info on it. It's a used rifle, but for sale through another retailer.

I dug into their Rover line a bit after seeing a bunch of them at another retailer. Seems like reasonable quality at not an unreasonable price. People were generally claiming average accuracy (1-1/2 MOA-ish) and it seemed like I wouldn’t get anything that would out do the Vanguard/Howa line.

A friend of mine into Italian combo guns tells me they are a quality manufacturer. The thing that caught my eye was the chambering in a left hand rifle.

    Left hand?

I'd never heard of them myself. I was looking around for LH 6.5x55 and see that Zastava makes one.

I've not dug up much on them yet.

I wish CZ made a lefty 6.5 Mauser...

Tikka also made the T3 in a left hand 6.5. I grabbed mine from Epps a number of years ago. The Sabatti I'm looking at is in 9.3X62. Something that I'm unsure about it is the stock with adjustable comb. I can't figure out if it left the factory like that or if it felt the tender caress of Bubba.
