I re designed it. Rather than using a metal frame and plywood. Since the plywood wasn't lasting long. I made the shroud and the stand, out of 2x4's, then put a layer of fire hose, where the sprawling was. I got a 4" Ubolt holding it on. Tested it with 22LR first.

The 2x4 took some direct hits and didn't splinter or crack, the hose hook hits and still holding.

So took it out today. Tried 9mm on it. The campro jacketed bullets didn't really do much damage to the hose, and neither did the 20ga slug. I probably could just take a wire brush and scrape off the flakes of lead stuck.
