    Joining Aluminum with a torch?

This stuff seems odd. The technique is just like soldering, but it claims to make weld-strength joints.
    Anyone ever try this?

We had some similar rods years ago for welding aluminum, used the oxy-acet outfit. Didn't work very good, either to hot and melted everything or made gobs like chicken crap. An artist i'm not when it comes to gas welding. For 25 bucks I guess your not out to much if they don't work as advertised.

That looks really interesting, if it actually works like they show.

If you know how to braze weld things, this will work for you. Works best on lap joints.
    Easy peasy.

Says it will work on a cast iron head? That’s interesting.....wonder if it would stick to a block? Cousin has a minor crack in a 50’s International straight six....

Cast aluminum block maybe not a cast iron block. Cast iron block needs to be arc welded with a high nickel rod.
