Agreed. I bought one in Vegas, put it in my MGM Tactical Range Box… and now I'm addicted to it. I just like randomly tightening things on my guns now.

I just picked up another Vortex.

    Crossfire II 4-12 dead hold.

The crossfire II's have a much better build! I wouldn't personally like an original crossfire for my guns, but the new Crossfire II 1-4 looks fairly stellar. Great option for a T97 etc

I use 2 Viper PST's and am very impressed. Also replaced a set of Bushnell binos with the Vortex Crossfire II, equally impressed with the clarity and brightness of their binos.

My SPARC gen 1 was malfunctioning at the range, but I think that was because the battery compartment lid wasn't screwed on tight enough.

A tighten and it was working fine.

I've recently acquired a Vortex magnifier to go along with my Aimpoint PRO, I like the flip-to-side QD base. Not quite as good in the eye relief department as the Aimpoint magnifier I was borrowing, but it's also $400 less.

For the sheer number of Vortex we sell, we get back very very little items and to be fair, half of the returns are due to operator error/issues.

But... Vortex always delivers on the guarantee.

    Had a PST 6x24x50
Was defective out of the box but it took me $200 of ammo to realize it.
Sent it back to seller, who sent it to Vortex Canada, who sent it to Vortex USA... after almost 2 months scope was declared defective BUT repairable.
I growled at the seller and got refunded full price, replaced it by a S&B 12-50. Which is flawless.

On the other hand... The PST 1-4x24 I put on a rifle works like a charm.

I'm done with them anyway, better wait and save a bit more and get proven hardware.

My dad is still running an original 6-24x Crossfire (illuminated mildot) on his Remington 700. That was one of the first ones sold in Canada. Amazing scope and missing it a lot. I'm running one of the new Diamondback HP 4-16x on my new browning.
