    Foray Into the Unknown...

I've been wanting a short but practical 12ga SxS for some time (yrs) and finally jumped on one. I know all the negative said about Turkish shotguns but I gave this one a pretty good once over and unless the guts are soft junk I think I'm ok. Just the way it comes leaves me thinking they have the basics down. Five chokes included, should raise a few eyebrows on skeet afternoon...... Go to the next post to see the actual goods, the 3 pic thing is a pain sometimes!

I think the Huglu doubles are fairly well regarded.

    Nice! Congrats.

If you don't feel comfortable going into the unknown, just wait in the foyer.
Why does the rest of the country get first dibbs on half my income?

Now this post makes no sense.

Should fit the bill for casual clays. I really like the case hardening on the reciver
In spite of all of man's grandiose achievements, he owes his continued existence to six inches of topsoil and the fact that it rains.

"...all the negative said about Turkish shotguns..." Primarily comes from our Southern cousins and some manufacturers. The only real issue with 'em is a lack of parts and a warrantee shop should you ever need either.
A grand for one of 'em(Prophet River) is kind of excessive.
Is the butt stock as dry as it looks? Just curious.
