    I think those two "facts" were written by the owner of the bear spray company. A 12 gauge with alternating buckshot and slugs is a pretty good yogi defense tool if you have it in your hands. When Im out cutting wood, I keep it right beside me...not slung over my shoulder or in a case. Im not saying bear spray isnt a good thing....just that high speed lead is better.

    12 gauge with a host of shells is my choice too. Dad always said "if you're going to take a shot at a bear...take two".
    I'll spare the viewing audience the picture of my naked 6 month old butt on Dad's grizzly rug lol.
