Andrew Scheer was defeated by Hamish Marshall, his own campaign manager. The Conservative Party ran a campaign on nothing - and that is what they have to show for it. The Hamish Marshalls of the Conservative Party believe in focus groups. They believe in pandering. They believe in polls. They believe in following rather than leading. They stand for nothing. If Andrew Scheer wants to run again, then he better figure out what the party stands for. And then he should get out there and actually stand for it. He needs to be a leader. Otherwise, Trudeau will become a three term Prime Minister - just like his Daddy.

Effective screening of their own Candidates? No investigation. Claims he was invited to do investigations, then withdrawn. (Conservative & Liberals)
Also argues that the Liberals are telling the Conservatives what candidates they can have.
    - Conservative MP Michael Cooper removed from committee at Liberal request, his words stricken from Hansard (by Liberal vote)
    - Salim Mansur would have been a Conservative candidate, and possibly an MP, but the Liberals said they'd brand the entire Conservative party as islamaphobia, and a ton of money into that riding. Salim Mansur ran under PPC
    - A claim was made to Conservatives that they had 5 nominated members who had close ties to Pakistan ISI. Nothing was done.

Justin Trudeau was the most ineffective, gaff prone, and corrupt leader, that the Liberals have ever produced in Canada. He is smug, arrogant, narcissistic, can I say corrupt again? He repeatedly wore blackface, he gropes women, he threw his own female indigenous attorney general under the bus because she was not corrupt, he made a hash out of the country's finances, he made Canada a joke on the world stage, he opened our borders to anyone that wanted to come stumbling in, and he has literally hamstrung the military, the police forces and the intelligence agencies of the country.
The Conservatives ran on nothing, Andrew Scheer doesn't stand for anything.

Neither leader inspired any confidence in anything.

This article, posted before in an unrelated way, also blames Hamish Marshall.

The only reason Scheer was where he is, was hitching his wagon to the corrupt QC dairy farmers, make no mistake.
And yet, after nearly 10 years of government by Stephen Harper and his anti-choice army, you can still get an abortion in Canada. At this point, the political right’s agenda is so well hidden Sherlock Holmes couldn’t find it with a Huawei P30 powered by a trillion Watsons.

And he rubs it in our faces, that he is owned by them, every chance he gets, often by randomly drinking glasses of milk in front of everyone.

If he can be bought by the dairy farmers, who else can he be bought by (cue the video of him pledging allegiance to a bunch of hardcore islamists).

Meanwhile, what are the odds that a single one of those dairy farmers cast a vote for the CPC last week?

He's done the milk thing once. It was a joke. He was making fun of you.

The dairy farmers showed up in Beauce.

Nah, just recently he was running to defend the honour of the dairy farmers. It was predictable and kinda sad.

The dairy farmers in Beauce didn't vote for Max either.

Would you vote for someone openly talking about cutting off your gravy train?

The CPC had the same problem in the last election, an unproductive batch of back roomers that couldn't sell their pitch to Kanuckezuelans. Couple that with Scheer's inability to act like a leader. And don't get me started about his having snacks and promises with radical imans....
