Fully reparkerized, with a Criterion 18.5" barrel to keep it Non-Restricted. The rest of the parts minus the stock are correct. For some reason it came with an Inland Type 1 High wood stock. I'm waiting on a replacement Q-RMC Stock, and this one needs some work to restore it.

There's actually no such thing as a "correct" Carbine. None of the original makers made all the parts. Quality, for example, only made receivers and used the detachable recoil spring tube. A lot of the shops, all over the U.S. Eastern seaboard, that made parts did not mark 'em at all.
Sad when refinishing a vintage piece destroys any collector value. The stock may have been put on during the post-war rebuild nearly all Carbines went through. That rear sight may have been put on well after that rebuild. That type would have been replaced.

I did further research into some of the markings on this Carbine. It turns out its one of the "Bavarian Carbines". Specifically Wurttenberg Landespolizei, who operated in the post war occupation zone. It has a few indicators that are unique, a Staghorn stamped into the receiver, and stock, as well as a German inventory number stamped into the trigger guard.
