I've see ^^that^^ video before, and I'm not sure why he's cutting all is perfectly good, already split, firewood into chunks. Perhaps there's a wood "chunk" stove that's auto-feeding like wood pellet stoves ?

If he was cutting up branches by feeding them in, I could see the point.
He's cutting up perfectly good firewood into mush.
I don't see how the mush would burn any better, wouldn't it just pack down and stop airflow around it?
Easy to load the stove with a shovel though.

Maybe it’s mesquite? Those chunks would be nice for feeding a smoker....

My Dad always ran Stihl and I guess it took. His 051 needs a little luv here and there but is still the true ripping mofo for real work, I dropped the 36" bar a bit ago....... Every yard tool we have on mix fuel or batteries is Stihl.

Never buy one of these. I threw mine against a tree. Piece of junk kept stalling. No carburetor adjustments.

It doesn't matter whether the gun they have is illegal or not they don't care about laws in the first place. You could make every gun illegal and you would still have these guys armed to the teeth it's not laws against guns we need laws against criminals !

These are mine. MS271, And a MS170. I find I use the MS170 a lot. Nice and lite. Enough power for the maple trees.

That's a sexy wood rack BSD!

As for my wood cutting gear, no pics required. I've got a couple axes, a couple hatchets, a sawzall, a machete, a tomahawk, and knives.

Someone recently gave me a chainsaw but I have no idea what kind of shape it's in.

I have a fair size pile of wood, but I've never had to process more than one tree at a time.

Lacking a decent chainsaw is a fairly large hole in my preps.
