    What does this mag fit?

    Any ideas?
    I found it in a box of miscellaneous stuff from real estate deal house cleanout.

    Looks to be for a Lakefield or early Savage .22.

    Early? They only went to the rotary mags a couple years ago. Savage Mk II.

    Steel follower on that mag, later .22 Savage mag has the plastic follower.

    Looks like a Lakefield mag to me too. They did not always have plastic followers and the same mag went into several if not all models. The Models 92S, 91TR, 90B, MARK II, 501 use the same mag.
