I don't think anyone in Canada is selling them.

I think it'll have to be a direct import. Also it seems to be restricted.
Said 6.5" barrel and a fixed stock, so over 26" OAL. Which would make it NR in Canada. Rimfire barrel length don't matter as long as the OAL is 26"

Learn to shoot with either hand. I did way back as a teen, it really helped depending on if you were driving the truck or a passenger.

    Hmmm $800 eh?

It seems steep for a rimfire, but probably worth it.

800$ seems like the new norm for a tactical gun. I mean those GSG 16s, Im sure people dropped a couple hundred on parts to make them more MP5 ish ( ontop of the 459 + tax ) and people are flocking in for a short barrel. That's gonna cost 200$ for the barrel, 85$ for install, and shipping both ways.

    I'm set in my ways.

Pretty much literally, given the arthritis

It would solve my brass-to-the-face Garand issues, otherwise.

I won't say what I've spent on the TUFF-22 (or the AR conversion for that matter), out of a sense of shame.

But, on that same note, for $800 I expect something capable of minute of thumb tack at 25 yards, with the right ammo. My dad's Browning SA was about that much and shoots very nicely.

$1,899.99 for a 9mm, 18.6" barrel, Vector Gen 2 at Cabela's Canada. Non-restricted too. The big kids need their toys.
No mention of a .22 variant on the Kriss USA site. Despite it being announced in 2013. Literally none on any of the assorted US firearm retailer's sites either.
