    1911 Magwells

    Anyone install an aftermarket one? Trying to decide what one is best and legal for ipsc

    There is no 'best' anything. However, you need to check IPSC Canada's rules page to see if there even is any rule about 'em. Be kind of surprised if there is.
    All or most of 'em fit onto or replace the mainspring housing. Shouldn't be any need for fitting. One of the fairly easy part installations. It's really just a funnel.

    Gotta fit in the ipsc box, and I think be no wider than 35mm or something like that. Talking classic div
    One of them are used in conjunction with grips, no replacing the mainspring housing but I don't know, kind of don't want to be stuck using their grips only.
    Might be the best option though.

    ipsc box for classic

    "A handgun in its ready condition (see Section 8.1), but unloaded and with an empty magazine inserted, must fit wholly within the confines of a box which has internal dimensions of 225mm x 150mm x 45 mm (tolerance of +1 mm, -0 mm)"
