Greta and Wexit make a good comparison. Shrill, bigoted, unreasonable and on the wrong side of the mental health spectrum.

At least Greta is a real person.
WEXIT is pure made up fiction like the "molon labe" shouts from the brainless.

That is what happened with Reform.

The Progressive Conservatives got in, controlled the party, and revived their party like a Phoenix rising from the ashes.

Saw it firsthand from my position within our constituency association firearms committee.

Before the Ottawa convention, to which my wife and I were delegates, we wrote the constituency firearms policy which passed at a general meeting.

When we asked head office in Calgary for constituency addresses, they refused.

By the time our MP took us into the office, obtained and handed us the addresses, there was insufficient time remaining to properly coordinate support going into the convention.

    Why the holdup?

The backroom boys had decided that constituencies should not be able to set policy.

While it is useful to work from within, it is vital to work effectively from without.

Unless we are able to bring firearms owners together, by building support for all firearms interests, we will accomplish nothing of importance.

That means including individual self defence.

That means including all firearms as being legitimate.

That means including the fact that restricting the actions of the responsible, and expecting it to affect the actions of the irresponsible or downright evil, is itself evil.
To show that men can travel to the moon and return, use the American experience.

To show that public safety isnít hurt by responsible individuals carrying to protect life, use the American experience.

Wexit could be stopped in its tracks or pushed back into being a powerful pro western lobby group if, or when the western premiers start talking a bit more about, or acting on pushing back on, or stopping the traitors down east from further ruining the country. The cpc needs to realize that going with the backroom donkey's choices, alienating the west and muzzling, or placating enemies of the state, or voters who won't support them anyway will only end up hurting them and handing the bearded bozo, or stinky a majority.

CBC is reporting that Charest has decided not to run. Amid allegations regarding his party’s spending while he was running Quebec....

Charest seen the writing on the wall , and knew that he would never win the nomination ; but he will probably still try to fill his pockets with taxpayer cash via the backroom deals .

MacKay would be almost as bad as Charest for gun owners.
He will drop us under the rolling bus tires at the earliest opportunity.
O'Toole is the only one of the contestants that is even remotely pro-gun.

Charest should not take that to heart as the CPC has an unenviable track record of picking political non-starters for leaders.
Whoever thought that "Alfred E. Neuman" (Scheer) would ever win a national election had their heads planted pretty far up their behinds.

Charest could be called a has been but he would be running against never was's and never will be's.
As a deep down Coniberal I think Charest would soon win the affections of the cadre of red brigadiers the CPC has become.

Charest is the only one in the current CPC stable capable of beating turdo next time around.
