Now he can have an addendum to his 'I have not paid a phone bill' bar story. The laughs will be truly gut gut busting for sure.

I once had an unexpected payment on my cell phone bill. I called and asked about it, and the best that Sasktel could figure is that someone had paid my bill by accident through online banking. They never did find out who or take the funds back. I did however watch my phone bills for the next couple years very closely.

Obviously the guy knew he was getting a free ride, but offering to pay it over 5 years is not unreasonable. It is still Telus' error.

I'm curious why his phone bill was $183/month?

Well, if you were getting a free data, text and voice cell package for 5 years, you would be maxing it out too!

I have a large number of friends and acquaintances who work for the government here in the NCR who have government supplied cell phones with unlimited data, text and voice who use them all the time when not at work too, every single one of them got rid of their own phones and plans long ago and now only use the government (taxpayer) funded cells and plans, even when travelling.
I live among lots of sheeple and dim witted who like to think they are good Canadians for voting Lieberal
