I think more machining marks and people really hate the upper and lower being held together with a home hardware bolt.
I had a slr preordered and cancelled it back in 2018 due to being broke.
2 years later I'm still broke and still ordering things I shouldn't.

If you can afford a captured buffer spring that will be my next upgrade. It avoids the spring popping out because the catch pin isn't held in place by the buffer tube. This might have been fixed since i bought my early model.

I like the KNS trigger non rotation pin system for a standard type trigger. I figure the wear will be on the pins and the trigger which are replaceable and not the pins and receiver.

There is nothing i know of to specifically avoid that you wouldn't also avoid in a standard AR.
Both of those issues have long been addressed now, the buffer tube was because it was adapted from the Modern Varmint, which never used a buffer retaining pin but we have addressed that now. And the triggertech triggers work with the new angled design of the rear hook. For a trigger that incredible... adjustments had to be made.

I am far FAR too familiar with that problem.

At least spares are cheap and easy to source that way should you lose it.
Yes, you can fix stupid, but the stupid folks have passed laws against it. - FallisCowboy

The one I have is shooting around an inch at 100m, I think it will get even better with some more experimenting with loads.
I really, really, like the rifle.
