A mint Iver what? Don't think IJ ever had a plant in Coburg though. Cooey was in Coburg. Winchester bought Cooey and kept making rifles until they scampered back across the border in 1979ish.

    The Interwebz says:

Over 67 different models of firearm would fill the Cooey catalog eventually, with numerous other firearms produced for other brands such as Hiawatha, Iver Johnson, Winchester, Mercury and various others.
Pretty sure they did a line for Sears or Eatons (or both) as well.

Also impressive, when Winchester bought the plant and updated some of the machinery, they upped production to 2,000 firearms per day. Dang....

Gunparts, Stateside, shows a repro IJ butt plate for their 'Champion' single shot. $17.50US plus $18.50US shipping.
Try Western Gun Parts first. They don't do an on-line catalogue. http://www.westerngunparts.com/
And 'mint' means unfired and exactly as it came out of the factory.

    where'd you grab that at?
if someone drives by and you're in your underwear, beating a porcupine to death and laughing hysterically, it might be bad for business.
