Keep working at it. You will eventually find what works for you.

I started shooting trap end of last year.

I think first time I hit 3. Now I usually get at least half and on a good rally I get around 20.

Welcome to the game! Thatís respectable shooting for someone starting out. Scores come with consistency and consistency comes from practice. If you havenít watched this video please do so. Itís old, and the hold points may not be whatís used today but the rest is spot on.

    What gun are you using?

I got 2 rounds in this afternoon, and my scores were better.
Starting to get this new gun figured out (knocking on wood).
Why does the rest of the country get first dibbs on half my income?

Nothing wrong with that gun. More than good enough to get you started.

That step from an auto loader to a over and under can be a bit bumpy. Good to hear the scores are coming back.

Also, I started shooting out of the top barrel, so if I do get the gun canted, it shouldn't affect the aim as much.
The top barrel is full, so some of the guys at the club say I should be shooting that one anyway.
