    6.5x55 Swedish Brass...Where to Find?

Guess who is going to build a Garand in 6.5x55 Swedish? Ya, I have one of Criterion's new 6.5 barrels on order and am looking for some quality loading components. Where do you folks find your stuff? This should be an interesting project for this summer.

Bought PRVI ammo to get started and reloaded as it is good quality and was a reasonable price at that time. Since then have found some and bought a bunch from a guy getting out of that cal.

He also had several boxes of expensive projectiles and RCBS dies.

PRVI is a great source for metric calibres. Tradeex often carries their new brass in lots of 50 or 100, though they are cutting back their stock levels. The pre rolled stuff is usually the most reasonably priced ammo around. I’ve picked up boxes from Tradeex, SFRC and (believe it or not) Canadian Tire. Crappy Tire was the 8x56R I couldn’t find anywhere else to boot.

Prophet River as well as Eagle Firearms Ltd both show inventory of 6.5x55 from several manufactures listed as in stock. Pick your poison.

Lapua might be a bit expensive for a Garand. But there's always that, if you like.
