    Spag Sauce Sauce Cook.......

Day 2 of our 3 day 12hour on / 12hour off simmer...... So many folks are horrified that we don't refrigerate until we are done but everyone loses their mind served over fresh pasta and forgets. ;-)

    Peas porridge hot,
    Peas porridge cold,
    Peas porridge in the pot,
    Nine days old.

There is something that happens with repeated cooking/cooling that is just magical.
Maybe the best is chili done on the fire then reheated the next day on the fire again.

Sun is shining, cast iron is calling, maybe chili tomorrow?
    Campfire chili cookout for one...

We are free form cookers to say the least! Here is the idea..... Proportions to the size of your crock pot, this one has our local butchers yellow mustard seed sausage that I've ran thru the smoker in it. Sorry nothing spectacular, just run of the mill and throw in the kitchen sink........
