    Waco on netflix

I just gotta recommend this, as it paints the atf/fbi in the nastiest light they deserve.

If I remember correctly it was the largest firearms related murder in the US and it was perpetrated by the Gov't against it's citizens.

Ammo, camo and things that go "blammo".

You can tell the lessons learned by how they took out Lavoy Finicum

Read it as Whacko on Netflix, thought it was about Obama.

Gun Control is about making it unlawful for you to use, carry, or possess a firearm.

All restrictions/prohibitions on the use, carriage, or possession of firearms must be repealed.

    Middle ground?

    What middle ground?

Apparently an insider recounting. Haven’t watched it, but know a few here will and give the recap

I remember watching recordings of the live satellite TV feeds - this was before they were smart enough to encrypt them so if you had the gear at the right time you could just record it.

The fire was started by the armoured vehicles that punched holes in the walls to insert the gas. Not sure if the fire was intended but it was clear as day... vehicle punched a hole with the barrel, big POOF, lotsa smoke and then fire.

If all they had wanted to do was arrest Koresh, they could have done it in town earlier on day 1 when he was walking around down town.

The whole thing was fcuked from the start and the worst people were the authorities.

I found that it did a very good job of showing reasonable and unreasonable people on both sides.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a fan of the state being allowed to escalate things endlessly until you have basically no choice left but to defend yourself, but the citizens were doing things that got themselves on the radar involving underage kids that started the whole process.

What I don't like is the thought process of:
    - Cops can storm your place for no reason
    - You defend yourself
    - Cop gets hurt
    - Now cops really feel justified in coming after you, because you hurt a cop

Waco was a crappy situation all around, but I thought the Netflix representation of it was great.
    I have no signature block.
