The first printed parts we got at work were about 15 years ago, and man were they garbage (and expensive). We just got in something, and although the material is way better the guy running the machine clearly doesn't know what he's doing.

Thank you for telling me the price had come down to the level of things I would order while drinking. Pricks. In that vein, there are a few places that have those short shotguns in stock and on sale for farter's day. I very nearly ordered a second. I love those things way more than is reasonable.

I got the BL Touch from Spool3D and then sent them the machine to install the electrical portion. Also need a little board and wire extensions but those are all cheap and Spool3D can supply.

I looked at a lot of linear rail setups and this one is by far the best because its not just bolting rails onto the existing architecture. This is a system that massively increases the rigidity of the X and Y axis. As a result it is also more expensive than basic bolt-on rails

    Cool thanks man

You got any tips on keeping the printer level?

I find I gotta relevel the damn thing after it sits for any amount of time not being used

I had use of an early gen Ender 3 and that drove me insane because removing prints would move the bed and cause it to need to be relevelled. The Pro is much better and mine hasn’t needed to be relevelled at all. The BL Touch auto bed leveling should completely remove the need to level the bed ... beyond having it in the ballpark. I don’t touch the Levelling screws at all these days.

Great thanks, nothing makes me rage more than having to stop a print cause it wasn't level lol

I haven't gotten around to adding a BL touch but upgrading the springs to a much heavier duty set keeps me from having to level the bed very often, that and been loving switching to the PEI magnetic sheet for the bed.
