.22LR - What would be considered precision?

Im curious who has gone for broke insofar as .22LRs go? Ive got my TOZ17-01 dialed in through a Tasco 3-9x scope for 100 yards; in which I can consistently do 1" groupings (on the table). I was curious if anyone has tried to take it further or tighter? Im debating if I should try taking my TOZ8M single shot in for tight and long.

    Thoughts?

i've lobbed rounds out as far as 200 yards with my 10/22. got about a 6" grouping once i figured the drop out. my friend back home is hitting popcans about 70% of the time at 200 yards with a Savage 93. he shoots off a bench, i shoot prone off a bipod.
I'd rather make a difference than a dollar.

I can generally do the same with mine; takes a shot or two to get the drop down after that pretty regular on a 6" gong.

I would be interested in hearing what others can do as well. I did some 100 yard shooting with my XT-22 and Tech-Sights. Shooting prone, with a sling, I managed 4 shot groups of 1 5/8" and 1 3/4". It was that pesky fifth shot that killed me. :P

I'd be happy hitting a loonie at 50 yards.

As long as she's MOG (minute of gopher) she's precision enough for me

That's what the .410 and 28gauge is for, any hint of reason to buy another gun I'm game.

All jokes aside, I'm extremely happy with .5 moa at 50m so 1" at 100 is very good even in ideal conditions.

There are some crazy folk out there with their bughole .22s....I've seen member 22forever on CGN at the Chilliwack range...he makes me very jealous with his Anschutz 54 in a McMillan stock...I'm estatic with 50% hits on a clay at 200 yards from my massaged 10/22.

Yup! 50 yards is my limit with a .22.

Quit rubbing your gun and shoot the damn thing....you'll get better.
Don't blame me, I didn't vote for 'em.
